To view the NAV library, click on the Bookmarc logo below.     NAV attending AWISA 2014   AWISA, the trade show for the cabinet, joinery, furniture, timber and panel industries will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre South Bank from 6 - 9 August. Stand # 3213 Decor changes and folder updates There have been a number of amendments to the NAV Enviroven Veneer (Recon Veneers) folder with the recent removal of the following decors from the specification folders: Storm Melaluka Albeige (still available in Navlam) Matt Guy will be updating your specification libraries over the coming months. Please contact Guy Interiors or refer to the New Age Veneers website to confirm availability of decors when specifying. Full leaf grain structure can also be viewed via the website. Ultralite Balsa Solid Core Door   Following discussions earlier this year with James Kennett (Kennett Builders), it was determined there was a need to develop a lightweight solid core door. The goal was to develop a commercial grade lightweight door that maintained the structural, thermal and sound reduction qualities of a traditional solid core door (particleboard), yet was comparable in weight to a traditional hollow core door (foam or honeycomb cardboard). End grain balsa was the answer! By replacing the door core with Gen-Eco FSC certified formaldehyde free end-grain balsa, we have developed a commercial grade door that maintains similar properties to a traditional solid core door (particleboard) without the excessive weight. What does this mean to the installer and end user?: Installation time and labour costs are considerably reduced Reduces the risk of Occupational Health and Safety issues for installer and end user Potential reduction in hardware costs and maintenance Improved well-being as balsa core is FSC certified and formaldehyde free  For further information and to view the full range of products on offer from Gen-Eco please contact Guy Interiors to arrange a meeting. New Product Release A cute cowhide ottoman with jute handles comes in five natural colours ideal for a range of applications including cafés, waiting rooms and lobbies.     Small Space Solutions   Art Hide has created a striking new range of circular or smaller sized rugs. Perfect for children's rooms, smaller spaces or to create a focal point, the designs include The Angulo hexagonal geometric design and Art Hide's popular Nueva Raya. See the collection here.   Cowhide is great with kids and dogs - it is easy to clean and doesn't mark. It's also non-allergenic. Antika Hides    Unique to the Australian market, the beautifully soft goat hair hide, the Antika, is delicately etched by hand by Indonesian artisans. A stunning addition to any interior, it can be placed on the floor or draped over furniture. Hides are sourced as a by-product of goat farming in Indonesia, where goat is widely consumed and where the industry provides an invaluable source of income for local farmers. The Antika Tallow features an Art Hide signature etched design in a leaf pattern. The Antika Cascarafeatures a traditional Batik design.
